Kyrenia, Cyprus
GAU's campus is near Kyrenia (Girne), on the north coast of Northern Cyprus, overlooking the Mediterranean. Kyrenia is a historic harbour town with a mild climate, and Ercan airport is about 45 minutes away.
GAU accepts students from Pakistan for bachelor's, master's and PhD programmes, with main intakes in September and February. Admission is based on your previous results, and English can be shown by a test or the university's own English exam. GAU offers tuition discounts for many international students.
Northern Cyprus is recognised as a state only by Turkey, so universities there are accredited by Turkey's Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the local YÖDAK board. Before you choose a course, check how the degree is treated by HEC (and PMDC or PEC for medicine and engineering) if you plan to work in Pakistan. We can help you check this.
