St. John's, Canada
The main campus is in St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, on Canada's Atlantic coast. MUN also has the Marine Institute in St. John's, the Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook and the Labrador Campus in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
St. John's is a friendly, historic port city with lower living costs than Toronto or Vancouver.
About one in four MUN students comes from outside Canada, so there is a strong international community. The main intake is September, with some programmes also starting in January or May. You will need academic transcripts and an English test such as IELTS or TOEFL.
Canada caps the number of new study permits each year, and most applicants now need a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from the province along with their admission letter. The rules change often, so our team checks the latest requirements for your course before you apply.
